His Movement Penalty for Attacking, Backpedaling, and Strafing are reduced by 20% while in this state. Vamana grows to an enormous giant for 6s gaining immunity to Crowd Control, Protections, Physical Power, Physical lifesteal and his Basic Attacks now damage all nearby enemies. Even the mightiest and most arrogant of kings can be humbled by the smallest of men. Vishnu returned control of the Heavens to Indra and left his Avatar behind, but he also left behind a valuable lesson. Vamana sends Bali to the underworld but, in recognizing Bali's benevolence, shows mercy by granting him sovereignty over it in appreciation of Bali's sacrifice. Bowing in humility, Bali offered his head as the third step. Bali's demon army surged forth, but the demon king held them back. He challenged Bali to go back on his word or offer somewhere else for him to step. Now, with everything under his two units, Vamana had nowhere to place his third step. With a second step, he consumed the heavens. With one colossal step, he engulfed all the Earth and the Underworld. Immediately, Vamana grew to cosmic proportions, crashing through the ceiling of the palace and filling the sky. Bali offered Vamana an island but Vamana stuck to his request, which Bali granted against the wishes of his advisor. Vishnu, disguised as the monk Vamana and carrying a wooden umbrella, requested only as much land as he could cover in three steps. In his splendid palace, Bali was giving gifts to the pious. Unable to reclaim his seat, Indra implored Vishnu for aid, and so Vishnu took the form of a small mortal man, a priest named Vamana. After conquering the Underworld and all the Earth, Bali managed to wrest the Heavens from the God Indra. The demon king, Bali, was fair and righteous, yet for all his virtues, Bali was extremely proud and driven by fierce ambition. His harsh lessons in humility have shamed even the proudest of kings. ![]() It also adds lots of counterplay and decision making to him using ult and the enemy team applying ankh.Though small of stature, Vamana, the Fifth Avatar of Vishnu, should never be underestimated. This change will make it harder for coordinated teams to blow him up, while making it easier for disorganized teams to deal with. Gives him less healing in low rank games. Lets you use it better as a turn strat (ult when very low). Vamana gets hurt by ankh worse than anyone else. You will have to ankh before ult (which adds counterplay/ baiting strats). My strategy is to make the heal all at once (but smaller like 25-30%). Vamana heals 30-50% each time he ults w 30-50% shield (they tick 1% every 0.2 seconds). ![]() ![]() Group the healing at the beginning of the ult. Ulting makes you a big target w short range that gets shredded.Īt low ranks, nobody builds anti-heal so never dies and kills the whole team w several damage items. Vamana at high ranks sucks because you ult, get ankh’d so you barely heal (no healing if others are around), and take 20% more damage. Vamana ult turns you into a giant, gives you 107 power, move speed, 35 of each prot, tons of healing and shield, and restricts you to basic attacks. Most people understand Vamana is bad at high ranks, while being brutally Op at low ranks.
