4/3/2023 0 Comments Dilo egg kibble![]() Source is 2000 hours of gameplay with much trial and error locating specific mechanics and over 6000 eggsĮxcept for Dodos, female egg layers have a 1% chance of laying an egg each cycle, or 2% if mate boosted.Įxcept for Dodos, the cycle is every 17 :00, unless you have an Oviraptor(on wander) nearby, in which case the cycle is shortened to 11:20. its also worth noting sometimes there will be multiple eggs under one dino as ticks are often shorter than egg despawn time of 30 mins more visible on dodos than any other since its the shortest time to lay an egg So keep your dinos somewhere you're going to be spending a lot of time get an oviraptor if you can and have one male and many females in the laying area and enjoy picking up your eggs. ![]() Oviraptor: having an oviraptor on wander presents another visual buff that increases egg laying % per tick Mate boosted: having mate boosted will increase the chance an egg is laid per tick for the mate boosted dino having one male will mate boost all females of that species within range and thus increase egg laying for them People in the nearby vicinity: dinos enter a state of stasis when no player is within render distance for 10 mins slowing down food consumption and egg laying more people more eggs The basics of it is dinos have a set chance to lay eggs every X amount of time ( I forget % chance and timescale but its something like 10-30 mins but actual time varies with dino species ill reffer to this as a tick) the chance of laying is affected by a few paramaters Dinos will actively lay eggs in front of you, stored eggs do not effect egg laying potential of dinos
